    Just two hills!

    Every year on the last Sunday in April, we produce a world class half marathon race. It started out as a club event by members who were running in a half marathon sponsored by the La Jolla Town Council some four decades ago. Under the tender loving care of our club, this small local event grew into what it is today: A runner's festival for over 7000 participants every yer!     Pancakes Anyone?

    Every 3rd Saturday in July for the past 12 years, our club invites our neighbors to join us at breakfast. Childred 10 and under are free! For detail of our last event, please see the write up in the La Jolla Light

PANCAKE BREAKFAST  -- A BIG THANK YOU to everyone who worked hard to make the Pancake Breakfast a successful community event. From the primary organizers to the behind-the-scenes folks, each person played an important role. Be assured your contributions are greatly appreciated!

 

As we are winding down this year, there are two final dates to keep in mind.

 

CLUB INSTALLATION DINNER – Our installation dinner to transfer leadership to the in-coming Presidency of Henry Chiu and his administration will be Friday September 18th at All Hallows Church. More information to come. Please mark your calendars and plan to join in the festivities.

 

INSTALLATION OF 2015-2016 LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR – The dinner to install the in-coming 2015-2016 Lieutenant Governor, Mike Servais, will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at Phil’s BBQ located at 3750 Sports Arena Blvd. Festivities begin at 4:30 pm, dinner at 5pm. Dinner is $33 per person, with a cash bar available.  Please contact Lyric McCarthy at lyric.mccarthy@gmail.com by September 14th to RSVP.
