    Every year on the last Sunday in April, we produce a world class half marathon race. It started out as a club event by members who were running in a half marathon sponsored by the La Jolla Town Council some four decades ago. Under the tender loving care of our club, this small local event grew into what it is today: A runner's festival for over 7000 participants every yer!     Pancakes Anyone?

June 24-27 - Kiwanis International Convention in Indianapolis - the club will pay for your registration and offset some of your costs depending on how many people would like to go. Please let Rebecca Morales -- rebeccamorales@me.com -- know ASAP but at the latest by the end of April if you would like to go.

July 25 - Pancake Breakfast in conjunction with the 100 year celebration of the La Jolla Recreation Center.
