I am sorry to report that our dear member, Moon Mullen, is being hospitalized for pneumonia and COPD. Please hold him in your thoughts and prayers.
KIWANIS EDITION OF LA JOLLA LIGHT – The Kiwanis edition of the La Jolla Light that we use to inform the community about our club is coming soon. We are taking a group photo in front of the LJ Presbyterian Church on August 21st immediately following the meeting so come prepared! We also need for you, your business, your friends and their businesses to express support by taking out ads. The following are the discounted rates: 1/8th page $250; 1/4th page $375; ½ page $700; full page $1200. CLUB INSTALLATION DINNER – We are looking forward to seeing everyone at our installation dinner on Friday September 18th at All Hallows Church. This is a special evening as we acknowledge and thank our current Officers and Directors and install those for 2015-2016. Social hour: 6-7 pm; dinner at 7 pm. INSTALLATION OF 2015-2016 LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR – The dinner to install the in-coming 2015-2016 Lieutenant Governor, Mike Servais, will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at Phil’s BBQ located at 3750 Sports Arena Blvd. Festivities begin at 4:30 pm, dinner at 5pm.
