Kiwanis Club of La Jolla
The Kiwanis Club of La Jolla is a part of Kiwanis International, a global organization of members dedicated to serving the children of the world. Kiwanis and its family of clubs (nearly 600,000 members strong) annually raise more than $100 million dollars and dedicate more than 18 million volunteer hours to strengthen communities and serve children. Annually, the Kiwanis Club of La Jolla raises approximately $500,000.

Annual Fundraising Events
How We Help Our Community
The Kiwanis Club of La Jolla raises money through the annual La Jolla Half Marathon and 5K race. Each year the Kiwanis Club of La Jolla Foundation distributes approximately $500,000 through grants to over 70 charitable organizations throughout San Diego and beyond. In addition, the Club organizes these annual community events: Pancake Breakfast, Kiwanis Club of La Jolla Cove Swim, Concerts by the Sea, and Richard “Moon” Mullen Junior Olympics.

Each year, we raise about $500,000, mainly from our La Jolla Half Marathon/5K race, but we are always happy to receive general donations.
